March 29, 2011, San Jose, CA — Lumiette, Inc., today announced that Don A. Emmons has joined the company’s management team as chief executive officer.
Prior to joining Lumiette, Don served as president of Prescolite Lighting and vice president of Hanson Lighting. Don has worked for start up and large corporations including Frito Lay Division of PepsiCo and US Industries, Inc., with worldwide responsibilities including business development, sales and marketing, finance and mergers and acquisitions.
“Don has demonstrated excellent leadership in the commercial and retail lighting industry,” said William Miller, PhD, chairman and founder of Lumiette. “He comes to us with significant experience and developed relationships in the industry both domestically and internationally, capabilities that are instrumental as we grow the company.”

Mr. Emmons holds a BS in Business from Oklahoma State University and an MBA from the University of Arkansas.
