Mr. Emmons has been responsible for business development, sales and marketing, finance and mergers and acquisitions for these companies.

Fumin Guan, PhD - BOD member & Strategic Partner
Dr. Guan, the founder of GFL Lighting Group and professor of Lighting Institution of Fudan University in China, is well respected in China for his expertise in lighting. He was the former President of the Chinese equivalent the North American Illuminating Engineering Society. More recently, he was hired by the UN and World Bank to help Vietnam develop CFL manufacturing within the country.
Steve Johnson, PhD - BOD member & Technical Advisor
Over the last two years Steve lead the technical effort of Lumiette with over 30 years of extensive engineering and marketing experience from global leading lighting companies Philips and Osram. Former Group Leader of the Lighting Research Group at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in Berkeley with principle research areas of LED and OLED light sources. Currently, serving on the BOD he continues to provide technical guidance.
Ken Pearlman, CFA - Founding Partner & Managing Director
With 30 years of experience in, research & investments in materials, chemicals, electronics and technology industries. He managed private equity investment activities for Firsthand Capital, was with CIBC World Markets, as Executive Director of Semiconductor Research. Additionally his experience included Dean Witter Reynolds, Inc.; Robertson, Stephens & Company; Dataquest; Raychem Corporation; 3M Company; and Exxon Office Systems. He serves on the boards of Confluence Solar, Lumiette Inc., and Solar Energy stealth company.
